I am a PhD candidate at the University of Twente in the Netherlands, where I am part of the chair of Stochastic Operations Research. My research focuses on spatially interacting Markov processes. Specifically, I develop methods to control these processes and drive them toward desirable behaviors by combining insights from Markov decision theory, interacting particle systems, and statistical mechanics.
Apart from my academic pursuits, I have a wide range of interests. As a highly curious person with an insatiable appetite for learning, I love to explore and experience new terrains. I am a passionate admirer of the arts in the broadest sense. In particular, I have a deep love for music and am currently studying violin at the part-time classical music institute Academia Musica, where I receive lessons from Robert Windak.
